The location on Calle Pirata in Bavaro is actually perfect — you’re close enough to the action but far enough away that you’re not dealing with crowds every time you step outside. Punta Cana can get pretty busy, especially around the main resort strips, but this spot feels more exclusive. The beach access is what really sold me though — Los Corales Beach is right there, and it’s one of those stretches where the sand is actually soft and the water has that postcard-blue color you hope for but don’t always get.

The Room Experience

The room I stayed in had this interesting mix of modern luxury touches and Caribbean warmth. You know what I appreciated? The WiFi actually works well (which isn’t always a given in beachfront properties), and there’s enough space to spread out without feeling like you’re living in each other’s pockets. The balcony views vary depending on which side you’re on, but even the garden-view rooms have their charm — sometimes it’s nice to wake up to greenery instead of endless ocean.

Dining & Amenities

The main restaurant serves a solid mix of international and Dominican dishes, though I’d recommend venturing out for dinner at least once — there are some great local spots within walking distance. The spa is where this five-star property really shines, honestly. They do this coconut oil massage that’s become sort of legendary among repeat guests, and the treatment rooms have these garden views that make the whole experience feel more authentic than your typical resort spa. The pool area strikes a nice balance too — big enough that you can find a quiet corner, but not so massive that it feels impersonal.

  The apartment is actually apart of the Los Corales, and is on the 3rd floor. The room is very spacious with floor to ceiling windows. The view is nice and you get a great breeze that's better than the AC. Reception was nice and clean.
