This five-star resort sits right on one of the most stunning stretches of Punta Cana’s coastline, and I mean right on it. The beach here is what postcards are made of — that impossibly white sand and crystal-clear water that makes you question if the photos are even real. What’s particularly nice is that this section of Bavaro Beach tends to be less crowded than some of the busier resort areas, so you actually get to enjoy the paradise without feeling like you’re at a theme park. The parking situation is seamless too, which matters if you’re planning any off-resort adventures.

Accommodations and Amenities

My room was spacious and beautifully appointed — the kind of place where you actually want to spend time, not just crash after a day at the beach. The balcony views were spectacular, and the air conditioning worked like a dream (trust me, this matters in the Dominican heat). The resort’s tennis court gets surprisingly good use, and I was impressed by how well-maintained the fitness center is. There’s also a golf course within a couple miles if that’s your thing, though honestly, with a beach like this, I found it hard to leave the sand.

Dining Experience

The all-inclusive dining here actually lives up to the luxury standard, which isn’t always a given. The buffet breakfast is extensive and fresh — I’m talking made-to-order omelets, tropical fruits that taste like they were picked that morning, and coffee that doesn’t make you miss your local café. The main restaurant serves dinner that feels more like fine dining than typical resort food. I mean, you’re not going to confuse it with a Michelin-starred place, but it’s genuinely good food with variety that keeps things interesting throughout your stay.

  Wonderful stay! The resort surroundings are lovely and has lots of wildlife and a lovely beach.

  The entertainment team at the hotel were great! They have continuous activities throughout the day and shows on the evening. All were really friendly and keen for you to join in without being too pressuring. A special shout out to Leini and Julio who were lovely, great members of the animation team!

  Great design, friendly and helpful staff.
  We enjoyed our stay and I would definitely recommend and come back! We only did the adventure park excursions but it was fun and worth it.

  The linens were tattered and worn. The room was warm and uncomfortable to sleep. The fridge was stocked but the temperature was only cool. It was too hot to not have cold beverages and cold air conditioning. The toilet seat was broke but they immediately sent someone to fix it.

  A big compliment to the staff, who make every effort to look after the hotel and especially the restaurant team and chefs. It's just that all inclusive hotels are very hectic and stressful. It is normal to be overworked. Despite everything, it was a nice vacation with a good atmosphere in this hotel.
