Location & Getting Around

The location in Punta Cana is honestly pretty perfect — you’re close enough to everything but far enough from the chaos. I mean, couples absolutely love it here (they rate the location nearly 9 out of 10), and I can see why. You’ve got that beautiful stretch of Arena Gorda beach right there, plus if you want to venture out for dinner or shopping, the main Bavaro strip is just a quick ride away. There’s free parking on site too, which actually matters if you’re planning to rent a car and explore the area.

The Room Experience

My room was… well, exactly what you’d expect from a solid four-star in the DR. Clean, comfortable, with that tropical décor that doesn’t try too hard. The air conditioning works (crucial!), and the bathroom was spacious enough that you’re not bumping into each other. What I really appreciated was the balcony — not huge, but perfect for that morning coffee while you’re deciding between the beach or the pool. The beds are comfortable, though I’d say the pillows could use an upgrade if I’m being picky.

Dining & Activities

The breakfast situation is actually pretty impressive — they do this buffet setup with both Continental and American options, so whether you want fresh tropical fruit or a full eggs-and-bacon spread, you’re covered. The main restaurant keeps things interesting with themed nights, and honestly, the quality surprised me for an all-inclusive. Activity-wise, there’s a tennis court if you’re into that, plus a decent fitness center. The golf course isn’t on-site, but it’s close enough (within a couple miles) that it’s not a hassle if you want to get a round in.

  I like the fact that I was moved to a room that was closer to the front of the resort. I also like the shows that Maria Inmaculada invited me too, and the birthday decorations that was put in my room and on my room door.
