The air conditioning actually works properly (you’d be surprised how often that’s an issue in the tropics), and the bathroom was modern with a great shower. The adults-only policy really shows in the attention to detail — everything feels more refined and peaceful.

Dining and Activities

The buffet breakfast is solid — not groundbreaking, but they do fresh tropical fruits really well, and the coffee is actually good. The main restaurant has several different dining options, which keeps things interesting when you’re staying for more than a few days. I spent quite a bit of time at the tennis court, which is well-maintained, and the fitness center has decent equipment if you need to work off all that all-inclusive food. There’s a golf course within a couple miles if that’s your thing, though honestly, with that beach right there, I didn’t feel much need to leave the property.

Couples really seem to get this place — and I can see why. The whole adults-only concept creates this relaxed, romantic atmosphere that’s hard to find at family resorts. The spa treatments are excellent (though pricey even with the resort discount), and there’s plenty of parking if you decide to rent a car and explore the area. What impressed me most was how the staff manages to keep things feeling personal despite the size of the property. It’s that sweet spot between luxury and laid-back that makes for a really memorable Caribbean getaway.
