I mean, after days of being cramped in typical hotel rooms, having a real couch and dining table felt almost luxurious. The air conditioning works properly — and trust me, that’s not always a given in the Dominican Republic.

What I really appreciated was how easy everything was. There’s parking right outside, which might sound basic but you’d be surprised how many places make this complicated. The wifi actually works well enough for video calls (I had to take a few work meetings), and the water pressure in the shower is solid. The local supermarket is about a 10-minute drive, and the staff gave me directions that actually made sense.

  Located in Cap Cana, Green Village is a few miles from the entrance. Security entering Cap Cana and Green Village is fantastic. Two layers of observation/protection for you. The agents are nice. Although there is construction in the area, you don't hear it that loud. The backyard is great – has tables, pergola with lights, a huge grass area, and of course the pool. Bed is comfortable. Keyless entry, nice parking spot for two cars. One night it rained hard, and the roof material is great – you didn't hear it that much. in fact, the wood around this place is fantastic. The WIFI works really well, but we did have to sign in again and again at times.
